WWE’s Katana Chance and Cayden Carter retain the NXT Women’s Championships, Zoe Stark shockingly turns heels

The main event in WWE NXT tonight was a battle for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship between champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter and their rivals Zoe Starr and Nikita Leon. Last week, Stark and Lyons seemed to have won the match, but then Chance and Carter were able to get the best of themselves after a card was confirmed to have been missed. Tonight they’ll get their second chance at the titles, and at one point it looked as if Lions and Stark were finally going to have their moment, but Chance and Carter would end up in the lead. Stark then shockingly turned on her Tag partner, hitting Leon with one of the championship titles and then viciously attacking her to shut down NXT, so it looks like Stark is now a full heel in NXT.

Chance and Stark kick into the ring, and Stark will quickly point Leon, who will then return the favor after Stark has worked on Chance’s arm. Opportunity would have avoided another move from Stark with some help from Carter and would shoot Stark into the air, but then Stark would spin a bit by Chance before she was tagged in to Carter. Carer went for cover but Stark was fired.

Carter dodges Stark’s attacks but takes a hit before Stark can be flagged into Lyon, then the two combine to throw Carter down for cover, but she is fired. Lions knock Carter down and lock him up to press Carter’s shoulder and arm, and Stark will cut off the opportunity to intervene to direct a simultaneous attack on the Heroes.

Opportunity sends Stark out of the ring, then Carter knocks Lions out and Chance will knock her out the rest of the way. Then an opportunity collided with Stark to send her to Earth outside the ring as well. Chance was flagged and rolled the Lions into the ring, then kept the Lions in place so Chance could hit a kick in the chest. Carter would go for cover but Lyons was fired.

The Lyons were hit by a tug of war and then Chance was flagged and hit a double punch before going for cover, but Lyons was sent off. Carter was fired by Leon who tagged Stark, but chance halted the suplex attempt. Stark regained control and tossed the opportunity a bit before closing in on hold, but Stark dropped her and then evaded a move to drop her on her leg and knee. Stark apparently targeted her injured leg by grabbing it in the middle of the ring, but Chance repelled it and rolled it into a cover, but Stark kicked her out.

Chance was able to escape and swing at Carter, who knocked Lions off the apron and then went on to Stark, ending with a kick to the head. Then she hit another kick in the face and then Carter carried a load from the top rope, causing Stark to fall to the ground, Chance did the same with Leon. Carter rolled at Stark and then Chance Pro Stark down her neck but was kicked out of cover. Stark resisted though and bought her some space, flagged her in Lyon, who knocked Carter off the apron and went to Chance. Chance beat Lyons but grabbed her and threw her hard on the carpet.

Stark flagged it and then hit a huge move on the opportunity before tying it to a kick in the back of the head. Covering Chance and Lyons prevented Carter from interfering, but Chance exited the cover attempt. Stark climbed to the top and went on a flashy move but the opportunity slipped away. Stark avoided another move but chance bounced off the clamps and then dropped Stark into the casing, but Lions stepped in and broke it.

Carter came back and hit the Lyons with a drop kick, and all four women fell. Stark and Chance exchanged punches, but the opportunity slipped and Stark almost collided with her partner. They kicked the Lions out of the ring and Stark went to work in the champs, but Chance hit DDT on Stark and put her back in for the final. Opportunity hit the start and that was enough for Carter to get the pin and seal the win.

When the heroes were getting their titles back, Stark took one and attacked the Lions with it and then attacked the heroes as well. They exited the ring and Stark turned her attention back to Leon, where a kick hit her in the face and knocked the Lions to the ground. She then mocked the crowd and gave Carter her title. Looks like we’ll be watching the Lions and Stark game sooner rather than later.
